Monkey started out on bass for Northampton funk-metal act Psi-Cosis, dance-punk band PTNBC, then formed garage punk five-piece The Flamin' Kermits, with Johnny Yau. In 2005, the band split and Monkey joined Leicester punks First Wave.
With Monkey, First Wave played hundreds of shows all over the UK, including Rebellion Festival, and a mini-tour of France with Project Reject and Les Prouteurs. In 2013, Monkey left the band on a high, relocating to sunny Swindon.
After a year out, Monkey formed Rebel Station in 2014. After numerous EP releases, an album and a handful of singles, and hundreds of gigs, including Rebellion in 2019, Monkey left the band in 2022 due to non-musical differences, founding Dangermind along with Wojtek and Tim. Monkey also plays for First Wave, having rejoined in April 2023.
Wojtek started playing drums aged 14 in his native Poland and played in thrash, death metal, rock and punk acts such as Lust Mord , Ford Good Hope, and Pritza Pritza.
In 2001 Wojtek moved to England and wasted no time in making a musical impact here too, playing with Dead Cells, Audiochemistry, and Molly Karloff. Then from 2019, Wojtek started drumming for hardcore band Ballkick, based between England and Poland, recording an EP, Short and Painful, as well as a single, Oldschool H8, for the Tribute to Schizma album. In 2021, he left Ballkick and switched to bass, eventually answering an ad for a bass player on joinmyband.co.uk in late 2022 and joined Dangermind. He also plays bass in Witney-based blues and rock covers band Barnstormer.
Tim is a professional drum tutor and well known on the music scene around the South West, having played in numerous bands. Currently he also hits the skins for Splat The Rat.
